Spider 2 Suits

How to Play Spider Solitaire 2 Suits

Spider Solitaire 2 Suits uses two decks (104 cards) with only two suits — spades and hearts. The layout is the same as standard Spider: 10 tableau columns with 54 cards dealt (first 4 columns get 6, last 6 get 5), and 50 cards in the stock for 5 deals. Build descending sequences on the tableau — any card can go on one rank higher regardless of suit, but only same-suit sequences can be moved as a group and only same-suit K-to-A runs are removed. With two suits instead of one, you must carefully manage which suit you're building in each column. The game is won when all 8 complete sequences are removed.

Spider 2 Suits Tips

  • Try to dedicate columns to a single suit — mixing suits makes it harder to form complete sequences.
  • Build same-suit sequences whenever possible, even at the cost of an extra move.
  • Empty columns are more valuable in 2-suit than 1-suit. Use them to sort cards by suit.
  • Don't deal from the stock until you've exhausted all useful moves in the tableau.
  • Focus on completing one suit at a time rather than spreading your efforts across both.
