How to Play Klondike Turn 3
Klondike Turn 3 follows the same rules as classic Klondike Solitaire, but with one key difference: instead of drawing one card at a time from the stock pile, you draw three cards at once. Only the top card of the three drawn cards is playable. If you play that card, the next card in the group becomes available. This makes the game significantly more strategic, as you must plan ahead to access buried cards. The layout and win conditions are identical to standard Klondike — build tableau columns in descending order with alternating colors, and move all cards to the four foundation piles by suit from Ace to King.
Klondike Turn 3 Tips
- Pay attention to the order of cards in the stock. Since you draw three at a time, every third card is directly accessible.
- Go through the entire stock at least once before making major decisions — knowing what's available changes your strategy.
- Try to play cards from the waste pile in a way that exposes the cards beneath them.
- Empty tableau columns are even more valuable in Turn 3 because accessing stock cards is harder.
- Don't build foundations too quickly — keeping cards in the tableau gives you more flexibility when working through the stock.
